The International Society for Technology in Education created the ISTE Standards for Teachers in 2008. The emphasis is on using technology to learn and teach.

The Standards have been revised in 2017 and the new Standards have been released on the ISTE website.

The ISTE Standards•T are your road map to helping students become empowered learners. These standards will deepen your practice, promote collaboration with peers, challenge you to rethink traditional approaches and prepare students to drive their own learning.
